A Typical Day in the Toddler Room
Toddlers thrive with predictable structure. Our daily rhythm balances active exploration, creative play, nourishment, and rest to support growing bodies and minds.
Arrival & Morning Welcome
7:00 AM – 9:00 AMToddlers settle in with free play, caregiver greetings, and a gentle morning routine. Health checks and parent handoff notes are completed.
Circle Time & Structured Play
9:00 AM – 10:00 AMGroup songs, storytime, and theme-based activities introduce language concepts, numbers, and social skills in a fun, guided setting.
Creative Arts & Sensory Exploration
10:00 AM – 11:00 AMPainting, playdough, sensory bins, and open-ended building projects invite toddlers to create, discover, and problem-solve.
Outdoor Play & Gross Motor Time
11:00 AM – 11:45 AMWeather-permitting outdoor play on our safe playground — running, climbing, and socializing to build confidence and coordination.
Lunch & Hygiene Routines
11:45 AM – 12:30 PMFamily-style lunch encourages independence and good nutrition habits. Hand-washing and self-care routines reinforce toddler autonomy.
Rest & Nap Time
12:30 PM – 2:30 PMToddlers rest on individual cots with soft music and dim lighting. Non-sleepers enjoy quiet activities while others recharge.
Afternoon Snack, Play & Pickup
2:30 PM – 6:00 PMAfternoon snack, free play, and a daily report prepared for parents. Caregivers share highlights and milestones from the day at pickup.
